Does anyone know why there are no AAA discount codes for the Contemporary for Jan or Feb 2006? Other hotels have codes, but the Contemporary does not?

Thanks! pirate:

I'm just guessing - perhaps with the renovations, it's reducing their total available rooms, so they're able to get top dollar for the others without discounting??

I've heard the Contemporary is a popular spot for the marathoners who will be there in mid-Jan. Mid-February is the beginning of Peak Season, and there could be some conventions during that time.

Did you ask AAA?

Yes, I did and they did not know the answer. A Disney supervisor said to call back in October to see if there was any change. pirate:

I am also having trouble getting info for CR rooms and AAA rates. something strange is going on. I can't book std wing rooms for Dec 06 and could not get AAA for Tower or wing! any ideas???

We got AAA for last week of March for CR. I know it's peak season at that time so I was surprised to get the rate for a std room.

I know this is COMPLETELY off track but WDWBetsy is that your dog in the photo under your name? I have a dog who looks similiar (she is the very noble terrier mutt breed). We always get excited when we see a dog who looks like our darling "Cookie Puss" because she is very unique looking. (The way things are going in the world these days we try to find things to get excited about.)

Are you dealing directly with an AAA office/travel agent?

We went through WDW and got AAA discount for CR for Jan 1 to 7 for a std wing room. I think with tax, it works out to about $211/night. We had no problem with it.

I would love to book CR for Dec, but they have no availability! Apparently, there is some big convention there. Does anyone know if they ever open up rooms closer to the date if the convention doesn't need all the rooms they booked? Do I have any hope

which Dec? 05 or 06? someone did tell me there is a meeting there in 06 so that may be why they are holding rooms.

also I did not go thru a AAA TA, just called on my own.

Yes, that our little Peanut. He's older (will be 3 in December) and has longer hair now. He is also a mutt - some sort of beagle/wirehair fox terrier/jack russell or something! Does he have energy!

Here's a picture of him last month (he's behind the white dog).
