Contemporary’s Garden Wing rooms?

I stayed in the South Garden Wing (right along the water). We really enjoyed it. Very quiet, quick walk to pool. We didn't mind the stroll to the main building to eat/bus/monorail.

Has anyone stayed there?
Yes. IMO, the Garden Wing rooms feel more remote than they are. The reality is that they are a short walk to the main concourse.

Yes. I actually prefer the garden wing rooms. They are quieter and it's a quick walk to the lobby, path to MK and bus area. I just stayed in the tower in December and found it to be quite loud, plus I hated contending with the frequently, crowded elevators in the main building.

We're thinking about a garden wing stay this summer, have stayed in the tower previously but think we will enjoy the garden wing just as much.

Does anyone know if the incredibles refurb has started on the garden wing rooms yet?

Yes. One of my favorite rooms is in there. The Deluxe rooms. They are just very rare, think there's only 3. We snagged one shortly after WDW reopened. I've looked many times for it to pop open again and no luck so far but I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

I’ve only once stayed at the CR and it was a Garden Wing room with a patio just across the path from the pool. We loved it! Peaceful, easy walk to main building, easy walk to lagoon to see EWP. Would stay there again in a heartbeat. This was a few years ago so before the reno.
