Contempo Cafe

What are your thoughts on Contempo Cafe? I don't see it discussed very often. Is it a hidden gem? On the level of GF cafe?

I've never eaten at GF Cafe-- is it a table service?

Contempo Cafe is counter service but "a cut above" others, in my opinion. Everything I've had there has been very good!

It is a quick serve dining restaurant. But all the food and especially the cupcakes are amazing.

Contempo Cafe is hard to compare to GF Cafe since it is counter service.
We really like Contempo Cafe~ They have some nice selections that are different and fresh. Their sandwiches, salads and flatbreads are very good.
For dinner they have some pasta selections and a few nice vegetarian selections. The pastas are decent, not wonderful but a good option. (If you want great CS pasta, go for POR.)

As mentioned, the cupcakes are huge, pretty and delicious~ definitely big enough to share.
We've always had efficient, friendly service.

I would say the Contempo Cafe is one of the best Quick Service locations in all of Walt Disney World. Their menu is more upscail so it's not just the standard Cheeseburgers, Hot Dogs and etc. One thing I love to always order is their Chicken Caesar Salad with the dressing tossed, because their Salads are always made fresh each time you order them. At other Quick Service locations they are pre-made and kept inside a fridge until you order them. I also like to order their Spice Crusted Mahi Sandwhich and their Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza.

The three trips I stayed at BLT, I had breakfast at the Contempo Cafe almost every morning and dinner a few times. It was pretty good for a Disney counter service restaurant. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there but if I am staying at the Contemporary or BLT I would definitely eat there again.
