Contempo Cafe Food Porn anyone?

The menu for Contempo cafe sounds delicious! We are staying at the GF and I thought we could take the monorail over to the the CR on our arrival day for lunch. The Chicken Chop Salad is making me drool. I know my DH would be intrigued by the Honey-Lime Chicken Sandwich as well. Even if you don't have pictures but have eaten there, any opinions would be appreciated!

Sorry, I don't have any pictures and am not trying to rain on your parade but we were at CR in May and were very underwhelmed by Contempo. The Honey Lime Chicken sounds much better than it actually was. There seemed to be a lack of attention to detail at the cafe, few employees, never a clean table when we went etc. It was much better on our trip a few years ago, although the menu is better now the execution was not there.

We frequent all the monorail resorts and are going back to GF next month, hoping Gasparillas has not suffered the same fate.

Nothing on the Gasparillas menu sounded appealing to me. I thought about going to Capt Cooks at the Poly but allears.net doesn't give descriptions for their sandwiches.

we love eating at the Contempo cafe, been there many times and never had a bad experience. Its a shame i dont have any pics for you though.
I read a recent food report and they said the honey lime chicken was fab.

Ive had the burgers, pizza, flatbreads, pasta. we found the food very tasty and was always hot. I liked the beef flatbread the best, my husband preferred the pasta.

Im sure youll enjoy your meal there.

The photo below is from 8/09, but we ate at the Contempo last week and enjoyed it! I didn't put my new photos online yet.

I've had 3 meals there, and my favorite entree is the beef and steak salad with goat cheese.

Sorry, wish I had pics for you!! We also love the Contempo - pizzas are good and they have a delicious turkey sandwich. Of course it doesn't hurt that they have a condiment bar with all the honey mustard you can eat with it. They also had a mahi-mahi sandwich that was really good.

My favorite items on their menu is the Chicken Ceasar Salad with the dressing already tossed in, 6 oz. Angus Cheeseburger, Pepperoni Flatbread and the Spice Crusted Mahi Sandwich.

I thought the Honey Lime chicken sandwich was amazingly good! In fact, I "copied" it and made it at home, that's how much I liked it. It was very easy to duplicate. I loved it, and also loved the cold green beans tossed in soy sauce that were served with it. So refreshing!

Contempo Cafe is my favorite resort QS location. Everything I had there was really good!!!

I'm so happy to read positive things We are staying at CR for the first time in Nov and I planned on eating at the cafe a few times.

Normally, I'm not one to pick salads as my main meal but the salads at Contempo sound too good to pass up. I think it's decided that we are going to go over there and check it out, if not on our arrival day then another one of our resort days.

One great thing about their Salads is that they are always made fresh each time you order them, where as at other counter service locations they are pre-made and kept inside a fridge all day.

It really sounds like Contempo Cafe has some unusual items! We may need to give it a try!

Unfortunately I do not have positive things to say about it but I do have pics... The flavors are good but the LACK of meat on the items made it a major disappointment for us. But we are people who prefer the protein to at least equal if not outweigh the other ingredients. The salad had about two bites of chicken and alot of lettuce and the sandwich was ALL bread and cheese. So way over priced considering we got alot of leaf, cheese and bread.

I was just there 2 or 3 days ago and the flatbread and the roast beef with wine sauce was soooooooooo good!
I also liked the soft serve ice cream but I love soft service ice cream thats serve yourself!

We ate at Contempo Cafe two days ago for the 1st time. My mother and I agreed it was a fantastic CS and it was too large portions for the adult meals.

I had the steak house salad with goat cheese and she had the turkey sandwich with handmade chips. Both of us would order the same meal again, but we really could have split a meal.

I also had the dulce de leche cupcake. Wonderful and huge!

My only comment about the cafe set up was that it was not clear that you had to pay for all of your items before your order was sent to be cooked. I was confused and another guest explained it to me. I wish that the instructions on how to order, pay and get your foold was on the computer screens where you place your order.
