This is what I've come up with for September:

Day 2 - DH birthday dinner at Wolfgang Puck's
Day 3 - Lunch or dinner at the Plaza
Day 4 - Lunch at the Biergarten
Day 5 - Lunch at LeCellier
Day 6 - Lunch at Sci-Fi
Day 7 - Lunch at Chefs de France
Day 8 - Breakfast at Crystal Palace

So we need dinner on Day 1 and not sure which would be better, Rose & Crown or Raglan Road. Party consists of DH, me, DKs 8 and 10, and DMom.

I appreciate your comments. :yay:

Raglan Road! I think they have a much more exciting menu, and we loved our meal there last trip. The food was great and the atmosphere lively. We'd definitely go back.

We did not like Rose & Crown at all but we LOVED Raglan Road!:goodvibes Be sure to try Ger's Bread & Butter Pudding if you go!

Chiming in to agree with Raglan Road. Great selection of food and atmosphere. I don't know how accurate online menus are, but the most recent ones I've seen for Rose and Crown have about half as many appetizer and entree items and Raglan Road.

I'll fall down on the raglan road side of the fence. but if you are there for late dinner, it will get loud.

I'm going to take the other side and say that I have been to Rose & Crown for my last 3 trips and LOVED it each time and was at Raglan Road in December and HATED it! (with the exception of the Bread & Butter Pudding--Yum!) We had 7 in our party and only 1 of us was happy with their entree (and I might add that the several glasses of Guiness :drinking1 before dinner probably helped him in his opinion!) Now, maybe we were just there on an "off" night, but we took the server's suggestion and 3 of us got the Shephard's Pie...yuck...it was dried out mashed potatoes with dried out ground beef in a very dry tomato paste type sauce.:crazy2: We were looking so forward to this meal and it was the most disappointing of the trip. Now, Rose & Crown has been absolutely delightful every time for our entire party and if you are lucky enough to get a back patio seat in the evening, see if you can hang on to it through Illuminations. We asked our server and she made it happen! It was one of the nicest times we've had viewing this. Just this one gal's opinion, and I wish I had had a better experience at Raglan Road...but I would go with Rose & Crown.:thumbsup2

First, I love raglan road. It is the most fun monday through saturday nights after 9pm (when the band is playing). Might be too late for the kids though.

But to really decide, you'd need to know what else you want to do. If you want to hang out at DTD, raglan road is the winner. If you're already going to be in epcot, I'd take the r&c.

I'm leaning heavily towards Raglan Road because of the music and the dancing. DD has done Irish dance for the past 5 years and I think this would really appeal to her. It's our first night there and not sure if everyone will be up to EMH at Epcot that night. None of us are interested in Illuminations, so spending EMH time sitting in a restaurant waiting for fireworks is not our thing - we'd rather be hitting the rides, so maybe stay for some of the EMH and then head over to DTD, although everyone may be too tired and just need to go back to resort! :rotfl:

Anyway, thanks for the responses. That bread pudding looks awesome!:goodvibes
