Contemplating about purchasing DVC

It seems like there is no significant downside to buying AUL for my current intentions. Having said that, subsidized AUL are rare to find for good reasons. Thus, unless I find one that would be comparable to SSR in terms to cost per point, I might just end up buying there. I supposed this approach widens my search a little bit! Thanks.

The downside is if you end up wanting to stay at WDW more than Aulani and you have trouble getting the reservation s that you want at 7 months.
