Has anybody lost one or both contacts while in the water park? Is it better to go with glasses while there, or go blind (no glasses, not contacts - just try and avoid solid looking blurry objects).

I always wear mine. I usually wear a pair of sunglasses even on most of the slides (obviously not on Summit Plummet or Humunga Cowabunga), but pretty much all the others. Just get one of those sport strap holder things for your shades, and tie'em up tight, you should have no worries then.

Thanks. Ive always been afraid to wear mine near water for fear that they would wash out. Been trying to decide wether to go for a pair of perscription sunglasses, or get new contacts and a nice pair of regular sunglasses.

My DH wears contacts and he brings the goggles from the sports stores. Its a tight fit and it works really well. The water never goes near his eyes this way.

I've done both, plus contacts with glasses close on hand. (I'm this {} close to legally blind.)
I've never lost contacts at a water park. I was paranoid when I was younger and in one-year contacts, but now that I have disposables, it's no big deal. I usually keep a spare set of disposables, plus my glasses, a case and some solution, available near water.

I wear my contacts to the waterpark. Just make sure to wipe your face of when you get out of the water before you open your eyes. I just run my hands over my face and get rid of the excess water and I've never lost one yet. :)

I wear my contacts to water parks and pools.

I did lose one once when I had swimming class in High School. I drop of water dripped into my eye from my face. The contact was flushed right out. But that was the only time. :)

I would definitely wear them to the waterpark. :)

In the past, I've gone with glasses and then just gone blind on the slides and on my way back to the chair.

Now I have disposables, so it's not that big of a deal. I usually just wear my contacts and hope they stay in.
