Contacting WDW resort while onboard?

Does anyone know if a passenger can contact a WDW resort while onboard DCL? We are on the 12/5-12/9 cruise and then spending a few days at the Poly. I am planning on ordering a birthday cake for my mother's birthday on 12/10 but I was told I have to give 48 hr. notice for the cake.

Is there a way a CM on the cruise can contact the resort for me?? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm worried I won't be able to order the cake in time.

Thanks!

I would ask the resort for an e-mail address, like the one that belongs to the hotel manager. And notify them from the Internet Cafe!

I agree about e-mailing WDW....if you use the phone lines it is very, very expensive...something like $6.95 per minute.

Are you sure it's exactly 48 hours? I can't imagine, given you situation, they might allow you a few extra days. I'd call 2-3 days before your cruise, explain, and if that doesn't work, call the morning of you cruise.

Thanks for your helpful suggestions.. I didn't think about emailing! I'll call before we leave and explain the situation... they did tell me to call 48 hrs. before.. I'm just afraid if I call too early, my request might get lost.

Thanks for your help!
