If you click on the reservation under My Disney Experience there should be a "change reservation" option and you can do it that way. It's nice and easy. Otherwise, you have to call and wait times are crazy.

Yeah, I have done that but can't find anything. Sounds like I may have to call as I have heard sometimes you have better luck when calling. Or I am just see if I can do once I get to the resort was able to do that once.

Are you saying that you have tried to change your reservation and were not able to because the room you want isn't available? And you think if you call they can find a room? If that's the case, they can't. The availability they see is the same as you see.

Now, what you can do is make sure you are looking at all the options. For instance, if you booked a room under a promotion, when you go to check for availability for a different room it will still show rooms using that same promo, provided it's not expired. If it is showing just the promo rooms you may find other availability by switching to Rack rate, or even a different promo if there is one.

And it's REALLLLLLY unlikely you can change when you arrive. Availability is extremely tight. I would never count on it just because you've done it in the past.

I know it's unlikely I would be able to change when I arrive, but I can at least try. The worst they can say is there arn't any rooms.

If you want to switch to a different Disney resorts, the prices might be different. Am not clear if you think you might change your mind where to stay upon arrival or are trying to accomplish something else. Doubt you could do that by email even if Disney offered that option, since billing would also be involved.

Yes and no. Disney's computer won't let you makes some reservations. They sometimes have unpublished minimum stay. They don't want orphan rooms.

A few years ago I wanted to delete the first night and add a night at the end CBR. Couldn't add the night. The night was available for a new 3 night booking. In other words a room was available but not bookable. After informing the CM of the situation I was put on hold, guest services was able to authorize the change.
