Construction near Magic Kingdom bus depot

There is a small building being put up near bus station #28. Our guess was restrooms, but I don't recall hearing about anything. Here are some photos from yesterday:

Nice catch! I haven't hearding anything either. It could be for the bus drivers or something too.

Yes, it's restrooms. We were there and saw the construction at the end of June. I asked a transportation CM (one of the guys with the iPads) what was going on there and he told us it was restrooms. And then we heard someone ask a bus driver (I know, not the best source of info) what it was and he also said it was restrooms.

We thought it was. Would have been convenient for my son who had to run back to TMK, go through security and to the restroom and then run back. Not that big of a deal for an athletic 13 year old, but for others....

That's good, they're making some of the bus parking spots so far away that it seems necessary. Plus sometimes when you gotta go you gotta go. Just ask the Chinese, they're going in the bushes.

Some of those bus stops are so far away from MK you're gonna need a rest room out there.......

Why did it take so long? Finally they are focusing on the convenience and safety (the steps being taken after the gator incident) of their guests instead of just focusing on more new ways to squeeze their wallets.

These bathrooms were started before the alligator incident. They were well underway when we were there in June.

I do hope these will be for the general public as well as CM's, bus drivers, etc. I have had to hop off a bus and run into MK a time or two cause I forgot to pee before I left the room.

An associated notice of commencement for the "Bus Loop Restroom" was filed yesterday with an expiration date of July 29, 2017.

They have a restroom next to the ticket windows to the right. Do not need to renter the park or go thru security.

He didn't have to re-enter the park, but he did have to go past security.

Finally they are focusing .... on more new ways to squeeze their wallets.

The new toilets will be 'Pay as you go' using your Magic Band to maintain sanitary conditions.
