Construction going on at CS???

Anyone know about some major construction going on at Coronado Springs? A friend of mine was staying at Pop in Dec and said they were doing something at CS, and that it looked like they were nowhere near done...anyway we are supposed to go in May but will switch resorts if this is the case. Anybody know??

In January, it looked like they were adding on to the convention center.

eep oh no! we are staying there in march. how bad is it?? just the convention center, or will it affect other parts of the resort?

We didn't drive through the resort, but it just looked like the front part of the convention center was being added on (near the front parking lot).

Okay, so my friend saw construction, and Deb and Bill saw it...I just called the resort and they said, "Theres no construction that Im aware of"
Maybe its over? I havent heard anyone complaining on the boards about it, so thats a good thing.

CSR is adding 86,000 sq feet of exhibit space to give them a total exhibit space after expansion of 176,000 sq feet. Completion date is set for April 2005.

We were there the last week of December,
the construction did seem to be limited to
the convention center area. It did not affect
our enjoyment of this resort in any way. You
shouldn't have any problems in May, have fun.
