construction at the Wilderness Lodge - end date + other questions

Anyone know when the construction will be ending at the Wilderness lodge? Also, what are they renovating there?

They are building a new DVC location. Construction I think is scheduled through the end of next year if I am not mistaken.

2017. They are adding DVC cabins and converting existing rooms to DVC. They are also renovating other parts of the resort during this DVC addition.

Renovating the existing DVC pools, as well as the beach area and some amenities. New lakeside bungalows similar to Poly. New restaurants.

Yep, also some of the dining is getting renovated. They also are adding that lakeside dining pavilion.

They are basically coveting the entire south wing to DVC units. A new swimming pool and restaurant are also being added. There's speculation that most of the construction will be completed in May or June next year even though the permits are through the end of 2017.
