I just found out that there is some construction going on at OKW and was wondering if anyone has a report on how disruptive it is and when it is due to be completed.
We are booked for vacation in July.
Thanks in advance.

There has been some road work, and the bus stop at the Hospitality House is being reconstructed to allow for better access and more storage for the bell services department and the airline luggage check. Also some buildings will be down during your trip for the ongoing rehab. All in all, not too disruptive, only a minor inconvenince, as that bus stop is closed (though it should re-open sometime in July). If staying in bldgs 11 to 14 you'll need to walk to the Peninsular Road or Miller's Road bus stop.

We were in a building next to the Turtle Pond Pool in June. The buildings on the other side of it were closed for the refurb. The outsides are all done and I think they left the doors closed to keep the a/c in, so there was no noise. I would not have known something was going in there if I didn't see the construction company trucks and equipment.

Here is a pic of the construction at OKW's Hospitality House (check-in)...

We were told that this would be completed by the end of June or early July. The only inconvenience was that the bus did not pickup at the HH stop. However, they would stop and let you off if you asked the bus driver. We stayed in building 62 (trip report link below) which normally would use the HH bus stop but it is a short walk across the bridge to the Peninsular Road bus stop. Depending on when you visit in July, this may be a moot point as the construction at the HH could be completed by then. Let us know when you return how your trip went and what construction you experienced, if any.
