Construction at Epcot

I was at Epcot last month, and I'm just curious if anyone knows what's being built behind France and in the old Energy pavilion/next to Test Track?

Aside from the Ratatouille ride in France I had heard about a Beauty and the Best sing along similar to Frozen at DHS,I heard about it but I'm not really hearing anything lately,is this actually going in there,its going in a theater and I hear nothing about construction for it and from what I heard its not going where the France Impressions movie is at,I hope not as I like that movie.Theres also a crepe restaurant going in but can someone give me an update on that Beauty and Beast show.

He also shared that a new guest offering will soon debut at the France pavilion at World Showcase (in addition to “Impressions de France”) – a brand new “Beauty and the Beast” sing-along created by Don Hahn, producer of the animated and live-action “Beauty and the Beast” films.

Both shows will share the same theater.

Plus a new restaurant for Japan and construction at the International Gateway for the Skyliner Station and turnstile expansion and also construction on the World Showcase Lagoon islands for the new show.

LOTS of construction in Epcot and they haven't even started on the MAJOR construction coming to the entire "entrance area" of Epcot.

Along with the Ratatouille ride in France, there is supposed to be a TS and a QS restaurant in the courtyard by Ratatouille and I believe some other shops?
And they are taking out the monoliths in front of Spaceship Earth and moving them infront of the entrance. Adding back a fountain in front of SE. Supposedly part of one Innoventions may also be removed.
When its all done, it will look significantly different.

No-the construction does not affect IG operations.

Oh thank you! Idk where I thought I read it closed haha we usually stay in MK area but we’re going to be walking from Boardwalk to Epcot next trip so I was trying to figure logistics out. Thankful for these boards!

I thought I had read that they were being moved. Maybe what I read ws the pictures were being moved and interpreted it as everyting instead. Never really liked them, so if they are gone, doesn't really bother me. And I think it will look much better without them.

The photos on the monoliths are being moved. The monoliths are going away.
