I believe the plan is additional construction at Kidani would be finishing the interiors of the units farther from Jambo (Current main building), but the exteriors should be finished by opening.
Of course you are dealing with construction schedules on high-end finishes on custom construction. I was there (this sept/oct) for a week and a half and watched (from time to time) a crew of 6, working 6 days a week take the entire time to place wood "lattice" on top of 2 cone shaped roofs near the new lobby (that already had plywood decking on) I believe that lattice existed just to provide breather room for whatever wood shingles or thatch roof material they were using for the finish material. If that crew only had to install cheap asphalt shingles they would of had the roof finished on day 2
My Jambo experience was absolutely wonderful. Seeing animals from my room and public areas, the mysterious, but calm detailing of the public places (gave me a bit of a poly feel), the good restaurants. You just can't describe it well enough. We went because we thought the animals might be entertaining, and enjoyed them and a lot more!
