I've always rented (Dollar,Alamo) and had good results and enjoyed the independence, usually finding a $99 per week deal. This trip there will be 7 adults, one 2yr. old and all the crap necessary for such an entourage. A mini-van probably won't cut it and a full sized van jumps way up in price and since this trip is my treat, I'm considering alternatives. Would a TownCar haul this crew? If not, any recommendations as to transport from and to MCO? I'd like a ride just for us, with no other stops, except maybe at Goodings. Also, we like to 'milk' the last day for all it's worth, checking out late (Dolphin), tossing the bags in the car and hitting a park until we absolutely have to go. How can we do this without our own wheels? Thanks for insights into any of these questions.

Hi Bill from PA,
We at FL TOURS, might be able to accommodate you. Our luxury van which can hold up to 10 people and their luggages would work for you. You would only pay $10.00 more when compared with a town car rate. We also do a grocery stop for you. Oh, by the way, Goodings is not our first choice intsead we offer to take you where locals do their groceries, a place where it very clean and a lot less expensive. Of course, if you prefer Goodings, we would take there too. All you have to do to check us out is click on our logo.

The towncar services (Tiffany, Happy Limo, Your Ride) would work well for you, just ask for a van. For the last day, check out and leave your luggage at the resort, they have a place to keep it. Enjoy your day at the parks and meet your towncar service back at the resort when it is time to depart. Grab your luggage and go.

Have a great time.

EEK!!! You do not want to stop at Goodings. Their prices are $$$$ compared to other supermarkets.

We used Florida Tours over Christmas for our party of 8. The van was spacious, comfortable and impeccably clean. The drivers were the best that I've ever had, and I've been using towncar services for years.

I kept leaning over and looking at the speedometer. They didn't budge over the posted speed limit. Amazing compared to some leadfoots we've had in the past.

All of the resorts will hold your luggage until you're ready to depart.

Thanks for all the kind advice. Yes, I've blanched at Gooding's prices, but we're only there for these 3 gallon jugs of spring water that are very handy for refilling our insulated bottles. We bring a folding cooler, water tight and very efficient. At $2.50 a pop in WDW, times 7 adults times 8 days, I can save almost enough money to buy everybody a hot pretzel!
