Hi all,

I've been thinking about purchasing for a while now and have been a steady visitor to this forum for information, but I now have a question. I've found that you can buy into resorts that are already sold out from timesharesale.com. There are blocks of points for sale from 60 on up. I really want to be able to call Disney home, but I probably only visit once every two years. Because of this, I don't really need 150 points (the minimum for sale at SS). It seems to me that 100 would give us a great stay every two years or so. What I'm wondering is this. The blocks of 60, 80 or 100 that are for sale are at VB, HH, OKW and WLV. Will I ever find 100 at BWV or BCV? That is what I'd really like to find, but I don't know if Disney sold them in blocks of 100 or not. Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks.

They have sold them in those amounts. They have sold contracts with as little as 25 points.

There was a thread a while ago by those owners who owned small amounts and it is amazing how much mileage you cna get from a small contract.

You should get the name of the other resalers and give them your name and amount you want so that if a contract comes on the market, you will have your name in for it before it hits the web site. There are a couple of other good re-sellers as well.

Oh and welcome to the Dis Boards!

Thanks for your quick reply. Since you mentioned it, do you happen to know any of the other resellers off the top of your head? If you don't, don't worry about it, I'll look around, but I thought I'd ask.

Thanks again.

We just signed our closing documents for our resale today. A few more weeks and we'll be happy owners at BWV. Here are the 4 sites I found while making my search for an appropriate resale for my family:

http://www.dvc-resales.com/
http://www.dvcbyresale.com/
http://www.reid4florida.com/disney_hot_buys.htm
http://www.atimeshare.com/disney/

Pay attention to the number of banked/borrowed points on the resales -- it makes a world of difference on the value of your purchase. Be patient and wait for something that suits your needs. You can certainly counter offer on the seller's asking price. HBCat's suggestion to call each place and tell them what you are looking for is a good one -- the most attractive properties don't last long. The one I ultimately purchased was listed for only 4 hours. We got a great deal with 2 free years worth of points on our property.

Good luck with your search.
