Hi All! I am considering going on a Disney Cruise next year, the week after Christmas 2004. It would be me and DS, who will be 13 by then. What is the least amount of money I can expect to pay for the 7 day Land & Sea pkg (excluding air travel of course)?
I have a ton of other questions so I will be hanging around the Cruise Board for a while!
Thanks!

Thanks! I bookmarked both of those sights. I feel like I did when I was planning my first trip to WDW...Overwhelmed! So much to learn!

The week after Christmas will be one of the most expensive weeks of the year. Even by booking the 2 portions seperately instead of the "package" there probably wouldn't be discounts to be found for the WDW part. Go to disneycruise.com and select "get a quote." That will tell you the package price. Some travel agents will discount a bit. There are lots suggestions on the board.

Your best bet is to contact Dreams Unlimited (Click on their logo above) right this minute and let them know what you want to do and how much money you can spend. They are great at this very thing and will get you every discount available.
Booking the land and Sea portions seperatly will save you some money and give you more choices about the type rooms you will have on Land and Ship.

Good Luck

The two web sites given by Peter are a great place to start. You may also want to purchase a passporter - they make one just for Disney Cruise Line now and it is full of fun information (though it does have a number of errors in it as far as how many people each room will hold).

I agree that your best bet is contacting Dreams Unlimited. They have been great with our cruises and I highly recommend them.

Also there is a separate cruise line trip report board and if you haven't done so already I would suggest reading that as well. I've gotten some great tips and ideas reading others reports!
