Considering a 4 resort split stay, anyone done this?

It's often not hard to fill the time between 11:00 and 3:00 in the theme parks. Especially if you add in a TS meal.

This is what I would do, and probably most others, but OP mentions having a toddler, and those hours are prime nap time! I know if it were me, I'd be stressed not having a quiet, private place to go to if little one were tired, cranky or sick. Not the end of the world, of course--I agree that Disney is great place to kill time if all is well!

We are usually midday break people (August = pool time!) so the day we moved we did a lunch ADR and came back to go to the pool but our bags weren't there yet. Our room was ready though! Next trip I will either Uber our bags over if we want to do a midday pool break but since we are going in November (hoping it'll be cooler) I'm hoping will just stay in the parks all day and do a lunch TS that day. It'll just be DD12 and myself so we aren't even making many ADR's and will just go with the flow.

If I had a two year old I don't think I would want to take the risk of being homeless 4 times in one trip. Just so many variables. Especially with my son. He was an intense napper until he was about 5 and he liked to nap in a bed. Also too much stimulation made him very very hyper. Getting him back to the room for some down time was important for him. Now with DD....she was way more laid back and just went with the flow.

I don't really mind split stays but I have a 3 night minimum for any resort. Since AK & GF are locked in, I'd pick a moderate for the first 4 nights then move on to the DVC portion of the trip.

That looks like too much with kids, for me anyway. I would try to narrow it down to one split at the most

I would be much more willing to take on something like this if I didn't have a 2 year old. Lots of 2 year olds need to nap sometime between 11 and 3.

Have done triple split twice. Once was AKV night one and then BWV for a week and then SSR for four nights (and actually also had one night at Universal mixed in, where we kept BWV room but booked the US room as better deal with everything). Trip was honestly too long and too hectic for with moving resorts (and my 3 kids were teens).

Then I just did POP for night one and then met up with DH and in-laws at BWV for four nights and then AKV for three nights. We have done split stays a lot. So much that I have said no more for a while as I just want more relaxing trips. It is a pain to pack, drag stuff to car (we usually have our car), go off to park while waiting for room ready text (which never comes early), come back to unload car and then unpack again. It does eat into our plans. Can just live out of suitcase so minimal packing and unpacking but there is still some organizing needed.

As a frequent splitter, I recommend at least three nights per part. Maybe a one nighter tacked on beginning if needing to arrive early. Also don't recommend POP so maybe go with the four nights at PORFQ. Would also just do the last four nights at one place. And have you considered Swan Dolphin for the first four, or all, since your parents are at BWV????

I guess. The only 2 I've had in my life didn't. DGD did get tired enough at Disney to nap once and she did that in her stroller. She was worn flat out, she would have slept on the ground

We did a 3 resort stay once.. but i think it was 2 onsite, 1 off or maybe it was 2 offsite and 1 on.. can't remember.. but i do remember it was a bit of a pain to move around like that but we had no choice as we booked a day before we flew down (week between Christmas/New Years)... As i recall, my wife took care of one of the moves while the rest of us stayed at the park.. If you could get someone to do that, it certainly makes things a lot less painful.. still I wouldn't recommend it.. but you do what you have to do..
