Hi everyone! We are almost set on picking late February for our next visit. Started off as next Christmas, went to October, now we are set on February lol!

We want to stay on sight again for sure! The dapper day discounts seem like something to take advantage of!

Aside from weather and ride refurbs, anything else we should consider? My daughter has autism and lower crowds are good for us. Saying that, she did do fantastic this past June with the crowds and waiting! So if February crowds are less than June we will be golden!

My whole family is coming on this trip. My sister will be in a wheelchair and cannot handle lots of sun or heat, so we thought the timing should be good for her too!

So anything else to consider?

The crowds were attrocious on Dapper Day afternoon... worst I've seen. Beyond that, not much else to be concerned about.

I agree! They were outrageous. We barely rode anything that Sunday. However, we had a great time looking at all the fun costumes. The weather was pretty good.

February isn't usually bad, however dapper day itself is massively crowded (probably more than the summer crowds you faced) and the days around might be a little more crowded than usual but shouldn't be bad. The hotel rates are pretty tempting, and I'm a local just 4 miles away!

Can you plan a non-park day the Sunday of Dapper Days, then do your park days starting Monday or before/around Sunday? If you can, it's a great way to take advantage of the great hotel rates since Dapper Sunday is so packed.

That's what we did this year and it was awesome. We checked into DLH Sunday morning. They gave us a room right away, but that's not reliable to happen and had booked the character meal in case. Then we enjoyed pool time, not even half the chairs were full - everyone was at the parks. We did DTD in the evening - which was pretty crowded. But we had reservations for dinner so no worries there. After dinner we went to the esplanade and watched the fireworks. It was an entire Disney day without entering the parks, mostly without any big crowds - which had cleared out by the next day, and Tuesday had even lower crowds.
