So... for an investment of $110.00, we received meals worth $272.28 or a savings of $162.28. We will definately purchase more of these vouchers for upcoming trips. Besides saving so much, it was nice to have the meal expense taken care of ahead of time.

I leave in four hours, and I have purchased vouchers as well. I plan on using them in some of the places you mentioned. Thank you for posting in such detail. I hope to be able to add more info. when we return that may be helpful as well.

I thought I had seen on earlier post that Beaches & Cream were no longer allowing people to get the Kitchen sink with a voucher?

I am on the fence about these vouchers-contemplating whether to buy them or not-your detail is very helpful, thanks.;)

Kitchen sink
************
When we were there (begining of May), we got the kitchen sink (with our waitresses encouragement) the first night. The second visit, we ordered it, but they put it on our bill and said we coudlnt' use the voucher for it. We spoke to the manager, and he said since we didn't know they changed their policy, they would accept it that night. We went on our last night, and got the original waitress, and she said the wait staff was not happy, and that it was being fought. Guess they allow it again.

They allowed it (the Kitchen Sink) and even encouraged it as mentioned above when we were there the first week of June. They have a little production that goes along with serving it so I can see how the wait staff would want to encourage it.

I too had heard about The Kitchen Sink not being allowed. Our first time there I asked our waiter if we could order any dessert. he said yes, even The Kitchen Sink. Each time we went I double checked, just in case. Each time I was told no problem! I really wanted to go to The Pepper Market to use our vouchers, but we never made it. Since we got back I heard that they have stopped taking the Q&C vouchers. I wouldn't have been too happy to make a special trip there and not be able to use them. I sure hope Beaches & Cream continues to participate.

Dznynut, Which resort were you staying at? Was B&C out of your way? This year we're staying at BWV's & DH said we could go over there six times... I just chuckled thinking about all the food we could eat... I don't think I want to do that afterall!!! Also, how exotic tasting was the Lamb & Chicken combo at Tangierine Cafe?

DMRick, I LOVE the picture of your kitchen sink!! I think the entertainment value of the Kitchen sink is immeasurable, as was said, they do make a little production out of it...

We stayed at AKL 6/14 - 6/17 (WONDERFUL resort - I wish DVC would build a resort there) and then BWV 6/17 - 6/25. Beaches and Cream was way too close to BWV :)! Our first visit there was on Saturday 6/15. We went there after spending the morning at Typhoon Lagoon and we were on our way to Epcot. It's such a short walk from Epcot (and a short boat ride from MGM Studios) that I could see going there with no problem even if we weren't staying at an Epcot resort. We ate there so often we ended up running into a friend from home (who we didn't even know was going to be at WDW). It really is a small world after all :)!

The lamb and chicken combo was good. The taste of the meat reminded me of the Gyros we get from a local Greek place. It was a nice break from burgers and fries.

I was just thinking this morning that last Sunday at this time we were at Storm Along Bay soaking up the little sunshine that we had on our trip. I'm ready to go back! Last night my husband said that he's ready to do the 7 night Western DCL cruise (we did our first cruise ever - the 3 night Wonder cruise - in December, now we're hooked). Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket today?!

Hi Dznynut

It sounds like you do need to start playing the lottery!! I think you're right about AKL by the way, I'd love to see a DVC over there, but it won't ever happen as it would have been included in the original design... it's too late now!

It's always depressing to think back a week when you've just arrived home!! What's even more depressing is being at the World & thinking about being home in a week! It always ways heavily on me!!!

Thanks for the info on the wrap, it does sound nicely different!

You're right about the location of B&C, our last visit we were staying at OKW & went over & had lunch & pool-hopped for a few hours (the pool was DEAD)... The first time we went to B&C we were actually staying at CSR & just went to B&C went to play mini-golf at Fantasia... Now that we're staying at BW, I'm afraid my husbands original answer of going over six times might stand!!

We were in WDW June 8, 2002 thru June 16, 2002 and I purchased 10 vouchers from connections. B&C definitely make the vouchers worth every penny! We used 7 at B&C (we could have done the Kitchen sink with voucher but we were just too stuffed and the regular desserts are huge)
We used one voucher at Cosmic Rays in MK and saved $4.
Beaches n Cream was wonderful but very crowded and my opinion is that they will not honor the vouchers much longer. The eatery is there mainly for the resort guests and with it being so popular with the vouchers, it unfairly inconveniences those staying there. I hate to say it but we will continue to visit even without a voucher if that day comes. Awesome place with great staff. Friendly and helpful.

Aren't the resort restaurants for all Disney guest?

I clearly stated that was just my opinion and my view on how they could justify not honoring vouchers. (As if they need justification) Other posts have identified other resort restaurants that no longer accept the Q&C voucher. Doesn't stop one from going, just won't accept vouchers. I hope Beaches N Cream accepts the vouchers for a very long time as this is as close to SAB as my family will get since we stay off property in a vacation home.

We used Q&C vouchers at Coronado Springs' Pepper Market just last week so they are still taking them.

Hi Liz, Did you have any trouble at all using the vouchers? Someone reported recently that Pepper Market was going to stop taking them because they hadn't been paid... Imagine, one Disney Department not paying another!!!

Nope, no trouble at all using the vouchers. This was on June 27th.
