I've been reading about the Connections food vouchers on this board and I have a few questions.

1. I read that there is a limit of 40 of the Disney meal vouchers. is that 40 of the Quick and Casual vouchers and another 40 for the Vacation Kingdom vouchers and another 40 for the Breakfast vouchers or is a total of 40 for any combination of those vouchers?

2. Do any of the Restaurants have have a problem with two people sharing one of the vouchers - splitting a meal?

3. If you are doing the Vacation Kingdom vouchers and an entree has a price, but then an additional cost to add to the entree can you get the extra? For example, at the Brown Derby an entree is:

Grilled 10 oz. NY Strip Steak - marinated in Ale with chimichurri and boniato mashed potatoes $17.99; add grilled shrimp for $4.00.

Can you use the vouchers and order this entree with the shrimp?

Thanks for any info. I've got family visiting next summer and I'm trying to decide if it would be worth it to join.

Sorry, I don't have the answer to your question but I just wanted to say:

I NEVER thought that I would be HAPPY to see a "Connections" post again! :teeth: (But boy AM I! )

LOL Beth! :D

lehrsj, I believe you can order up to 40 of each voucher per family per year. (In other words, you could get 40 adult Q&C and 40 child VK, etc.)

I've never run into any problems splitting a meal. The server always cheerfully agreed, and usually they even split the meal in the kitchen and brought it out on separate plates!

Yes, you can order the "extras" -- go wild! Usually the server will encourage you to do this, in fact, because they get an automatic gratuity on the total bill (which is included in your voucher) -- so the more you spend, the bigger tip the server gets!

Have fun!

Oh Mary!

I read your MouseSavers.com site all the time and get your newsletter too. We are using the Connections vouchers for the first time this trip (5 weeks for me...hubby and three teens joining oldest daughter and me for two weeks over Christmas and New Years)...then I have to go home. My husband says he hopes this will take care of my Disney fix for a while!

My question is...on the $29.50 "lunch" vouchers. Are those good for lunch OR dinner? Several of the restaurants have lunch/dinner menus. Some have separate menus.

Thanks!
