Connections Question??

My husband accidently agreed to a Connections trial membership when he fell for an infomercial and bought himself a $100 toothbrush!!!!(He'll never live it down) I decided to go ahead and look at the website and placed an order. My college age son and daughter do alot of shopping at Borders and Connections offers a $25 gift card for $5 off. I ordered 3 for Christmas presents, so I saved $15 right there. I then ordered 10 Regal movie tickets. We have 6 kids, 2 in elementary school, 2 in high school and 2 in college. They go to the movies EVERY weekend with friends. You can only order 10 per day up to 100 per year, so I ordered 10 more the following day. These will also be Christmas presents I also ordered Quick and Casual certificates for our Christmas Disney trip. I ordered these on Monday and they came today(Friday), Airborne Express.
My question is.....has anyone kept their membership after the trial period?? Do they let you have more than one trial membership per year? I called and they said it was $12.95 a month and you can cancel at any time. I think I would save in the movie tickets alone. We also have AP's and go to WDW several times a year. I want to see how the Q and C vouchers work out this trip before I order more. What's your opinion???

I never did connections, but I just signed up for hotwiresavingsclub.com. They also have the Disney certs, $11.25 I believe. I got them almost instantly! They also had Target, TGIFridays, Toys R Us, movies, etc. They are only 7.95/month.

I cancelled my connections membership one or two days before the end of the trial membership and of course never got the rebates on the gift cards and restauarnt cards I bought. I then joined Hotwires Savings Club and have been estrememly happy with their serice and the fact the first month was free, got the $10 cash back check and it is only $7.95 a month.

I fell the for a offer that said I the would get 2 free movie tickets if I signed up with one of there deals, come to find out Connections was worth 250 points and you need more to get your free movie tickets. I'm sorry now because I would have signed up with my points instead.

Anyway i just got the movie passes and Q & C tickets too.
From what I understand in order to get the $25 free Amazion GC you have to still belong when the form is processed. Has everyone gotten the free offer by the end of the trial period?

I did not order any Gc because I wanted to get Hotwire and would keep it for a few months to get my rebates.
I don;t think I will keep Connections for $12.95 a month.
