Depending on the resort, there my be adjoining studios, but they will not have an interior door to connect them.

If you are booking multiple rooms for other family members to join you on a vacation, make sure you have a "Travel With" placed on the reservations. The "Travel With" will let the room assigner know that there are multiple rooms that they need to try to assign as close together as possible.

At VB you can reserve Inn Rooms that connect, but none of the other DVC Resorts have Studios that have a connecting door.

Another question (or two!)

We are traveling as a group of 7 at the beginning of our trip. My sister has to fly home early so will be leaving half way through our 8 night trip.

If we rent DVC and purchase the dining plan, can we only purchase hers for 4 nights? I know with a package, the same plan has to be added for the entire duration for each person. Is that the same when renting DVC and buying the plan (ie. no FD)?

Yes, the Dining Plans for DVC follows the same rules as cash reservations. The only exception is that DVC does not have to pay the seasonal Dining Plan price increase.

You could do a split stay (book 4 nights at 1 resort and 4 nights at another).
