Connecting studios?

OK - I know it is a pretty dumb question...but, is it possible to book 2 connecting studios rather than get a 2 bdrm? We would be doing the dining plan...so I really don't need the kitchen and it looks like it a few less points that way...anybody have an opinion? ... I guess the only other thing I am missing out on is the washer and dryer?

You can make a request for studios in the same location, not guaranteed of course, but there are no connecting studios otherwise.

Some other differences between those and a two bedroom would be, full kitchen of course, living room with sleep sofa, and master bedroom with king bed and whirlpool tub. Also, generally much larger balcony space.

Depending on which resort you are talking about, the studios could be quite a ways away from each other. None of the resorts would have connecting studios, and in some cases (like OKW) they could be on opposite ends of the same building, becaue in many OKW buildings, the studios are only on the ends of the buildings.

We have always had good luck in getting studios that are very close together, maybe the Disney Gods were shining on us. I know they don't guarantee requests, but we have always been happy.

Once we booked 2 studios at OKW rather than a 1 or 2 bedroom. My parents were going with our 2 sons and me for a quick trip. We ended up in a 2nd floor studio with my parents in the studio on the first floor right below us. Could not have worked out better. I prefer 2 studios to a 1 bedroom because you get 4 real beds and 2 bathrooms. The 2 BR villas are nice,of course, and the nicest of them all are the GVs, which I had the pleasure of enjoying in November iwth a group of 6 adults. But the points disappear fairly quickly with the larger units! (I have small OKW contract).
