Connecting standard rooms at WL?

I searched this and found some mixed information. Has anyone recently been to the WL and gotten two connecting rooms in the standard section? We have requested this on our reservation, so apparently they do have them, but I'm guessing not many. What kinds of rooms/views are the connecting standard rooms? Thanks.

They don't have them in standard. They have them in woods and courtyard views.

Thanks for the response. I'm confused why they wouldn't have told me this when I made the reservation. They did tell me they had no bunk beds in standard, but said nothing about the connecting room request.

1) Because ressie people can't always see that.
2) This is especially since they are not "booking" connecting rooms".
3) Only the resort gives those during the room-assigning process.
4) Thus, putting in a "request" is OK for the ressie person.

To add to what Rusty said, you have to understand that you might be talking to someone in reservations that is in Kansas and has never been to WDW, or even to Florida.

As Rusty stated, they only know what they see on the computer screen and since connecting rooms are a request it is not listed on the info given to the booking agent.

Also they are never a guarantee, even if your confirmation says so; unless there is only one adult in the group for both rooms.

I have stayed in connecting rooms at the WL that were standard view. We were there this past Dec. and had requested connecting rooms. People kept saying on these boards that they dont have them for standard. We were put in 4 rooms right above the check in desk (4th floor) and they connected. I questioned if they were a standard view and was told yes. So, they DO have connecting rooms with a standard view. We loved where we were. The location was great and we loved being able to open our door and look right into the lobby. The outside balcony view was nothing to look at (roofpeaks), but we dont sit outside much so it didnt bother us.
