Connecting Rooms

We're traveling at the end of March with our extended family. We've requested connecting rooms, so we can put our 2 year old to bed early, then go in the next room. I realize that they can't guarentee it, so I was wondering....what is the liklihood that we will be able to get them?

I know it's best to get there as early as possible, but our flight won't get us there until check-in time.

Be sure to call CRO and mention that you will have a young child and want connecting rooms. Have them put your request for connecting rooms in your reservation. They will do their best to accomodate you.

My travel agent told me that connecting rooms for a family is guaranteed. I asked her for the connecting rooms at booking. I also have a 4 yr old I would like to get to sleep earlier too. Hope this helps you.

When I made our reservation, the CM told me that connecting rooms were guaranteed for my family because we had small children 4, 5, & 9. Of course, I just got my packet in the mail today and they put me and my DS in one room and DH w/DD's in another. I'm guessing they had to split it that way to book the rooms, but it won't be a problem.

I think they have to separate you like that so that they have someone over 18 in the room. Just my guess. You probably will get connecting rooms.

CM told me connecting rooms are only guaranteed if children outnumber the adults...not sure the reasoning behind that, but that's what she said.

Also have been told that POP Century has more connecting rooms than other resorts so it's easier to get connecting rooms there.

It makes sense- when there are two adults and 4 kids let's say, connecting is guaranteed b/c the kids MUST have an adult in the room. If there are 3 adults, there's less of a chance that the rooms are connnecting, b/c one adult can stay in with the kids. Once you are in the room, it doesn't matter where you put the kids and the adults.
