Connecting rooms ?

My sons will be 18 and 15 next year when we go to wdw. I want to get two connecting rooms at one of the value resorts(for my sanity lol) Has anyone had any trouble doing this? How far in advance should I make the ressies? We will be going Thanksgiving 2004. Thanks in advance.

You can request connecting when you make the reservation, but I don't think they will guarantee it. It will depend on whether or not they have connecting rooms available when you check in.

If there only two adults on the reservation requesting the connecting rooms they will guarantee the rooms being connected because they are not allowed to have children in a separate room.
However, with your son being 18 I'm not sure if they will consider him a child or an adult.
