Planning a last minute weekend trip with my SIL and our kids (my daughter and nephew). Thinking about booking All Star Movies on Orbitz, since they offer a lower rate. We are each getting a room since sleep times can be hard when my 4yr old and her 18 month old like to hype each other up but we want connecting rooms. Does anyone know if that is a really hard thing to request/get when booking with Orbitz?

Understandable, which is why I didn't know if anyone was succeful in booking with orbitz and getting the connecting rooms.

I've requested connecting rooms twice with Orbitz in the past and gotten them both times.

Once you've made the reservation, call Orbitz or use the chat feature to tell them you want to request connecting rooms. You'll have to contact them anyway to add the children to the reservation--don't add them when you book, only list the adults. Orbitz charges for the children whereas WDW doesn't. They will make you wait a few minutes while they contact WDW to have the children added and to note the room requests.

Call WDW after you're done with Orbitz and make sure they received the request. If it's not noted, get back in touch with Orbitz and have them contact WDW again.

It's always a roll of the dice no matter who you book through, but I don't think booking through Orbitz hurts your chances at all. Hope you get what you want, and have a great trip!
