Connecting in ATL

^^ That is why I said MIGHT hold the flight, have been on flights in the past where they did hold up the connecting flight for others to board. Doubt that Delta would offer flights with 45-60 minute connection times if they find the majority are consistently missing their connections.

As it relates the OP, Atlanta has MANY flights daily to their destination which makes things a bit easier then traveling out some airport with only one flight 2x per week.

One more tip about the train at the ATL airport. It takes off like a bullet -- don't let it tip you over!

I used to travel a lot for work and never had an issue connecting in Atlanta. One time though I made the connection but my luggage didn't. The next flight was about an hour later, I just waited for it and my luggage was there (going home). They would have delivered it to my home but I wanted to have it because I was traveling out again in a couple days. The frequency of flights made it a good choice.
