I recently got my DME booklet and I see it only has my "main" flight listed, however, on the way home that is not my final destination.

When they check me in for the flight home, are they going to automatically see that I have another flight so that the luggage tags will direct my luggage to the right place, or would it be better to just check in my luggage myself? Or should I call them to let them know?

If the flights are booked together in the same reservation, then RAC will see them when they check you in and will tag luggage to your final destination.

You don't use the DME yellow luggage tags for the flight home ~ only the flight to Orlando.

DME and RAC (luggage check) are 2 different entities. As far as DME is concerned, they need to get you to the airport on time for your flight out of Orlando. They don't care beyond that. RAC will check your luggage from the airlines computer and will automatically tag it to your final destination.

To reduce confusion, it is better to wait until you get there to ask questions or make changes to your DME trip going home.

Going to Disney via connecting flights, your DME reservation, if it shows any flight, should show the last flight. Going home, the correct flight shown on your DME reservation is the first flight.

The flight number should translate into the time your DME bus leaves your resort back to the airport. This time is on your confirmation the day before checkout and should be around 3 hours before your flight. If it is much less, then the system goofed and you should get it corrected instantly and you not think you are lucky you got another half hour or hour in the parks (or in bed that last morning).

Once in a blue moon the check in agent (RAC agent at the resorts) goofs*. You need to double check your claim checks to be sure your final destination (home airport etc.) is shown.

* Long long time ago. A ticket counter agent checked my suitcase to Daytona Beach (DAB) when I was going to Washington Reagan (DCA) but I caught it before he put the wrong tag on.
