Connecting flights - looking for advice from any CVG Delta veterans

There's pretty decent airfare today for a Delta one-stop flight to MCO for our upcoming WDW trip, with the stop being at CVG in Cincinnati. My concern is that there is only 35 minutes between flights, and our incoming flight to CVG has a 90% on-time record. I think most airlines have a policy of closing the gate 20 minutes before departure, so here's my question for those of you who fly Delta out of CVG:

is CVG a pretty easy airport to navigate? From what I can tell, all the domestic Delta flights go out of gates B13-B39. If I decide to take the risk with the short connection time (btw, party of 4 adults with 2 kids, ages 5 and 6), I'd like to know as much as I can about the CVG environment.

Thanks for the help!

I have flown thru Cinci a couple of times. It is a fairly small airport, but I am not sure I would be comfortable with that short of a connection time. If you are late flying in at all, you could be in a bad spot.

I will admit though that when I fly in from Grand Rapids, Mi we are always on a very small commuter jet. So we land in a different area of the airport, and have to walk a little ways, and take an escelator down and across to our next gate.

Can you see at all where you plane may typically land in CVG?

I think our flight (it's from Denver) is on a smaller commuter jet operated by a different airline but in conjunction with Denver. At this point I'm thinking 35 minutes is not enough time, especially given your experience.

Thanks!
