Because my oldest son had cystic fibrosis, I had a CVS when I was a few weeks pg. I knew my daughter was a girl by the time I was 9 weeks along, so it is possible. Good luck to her!

She must be further along than 9 weeks. Maybe trying to fool the press so they will leave her alone.
For all we know she could really be due in November. Look at Gwyneth, everyone reported she wasn't due until the summer ans she had the baby a couple weeks ago.

not that its any of my business, but well, she is a celebrity. I have read in the past where she has struggled with infertility problems. Now even though they are releasing the statement that twins run in her family, I am guessing these twins were conceived thru invitro, and she had pre-implantation genetic diagnosis. These are not things most of us regular folks could afford, but anyway, thats my guess. I am expecting myself right now at age 41 and I have really researched all this stuff. CVS is generally done between 10 to 12 weeks. I read where Courtney Cox had the pre=implantation genetic diagnosis done as well. Anyway, no matter how she got pregnant, I am very happy for her!

I was thinking the same thing. It is highly unlikely that doctors would be able to tell what the sex of her children are at 9 weeks! I know when I was pregnant, they didn't even try to tell until I was 14 weeks or so!

The only way I can see this being true is if she is farther along than is being reported!

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for anyone that wants a child. But, get really confused by all this "A CELEBRITY IS PREGNANT! A CELEBRITY IS PREGNANT!" hysteria. They aren't really doing anything most other women can do, are they?

And I not sure how we really know how good of a Mom she will be. I'm guessing a lot of people thought Joan Crawford would be a good mom based on what they saw from her in the movies.

Won't it be all over the cover of "Tiger Beat for Adults" (Us Magazine) and "16 for Adults" (People Magazine) next week for sure? I just don't understand how this is news.
