As many of you now know, Sunday's Scoop seminar was quite an experience. I witnessed several firsts for the Pin Talk. First there was the entire audience eating chocolate donuts trying to disrupt poor Scoop, then there was the inevitable Ed starting a food fight which ended with Scoop tossing his cookies (not a pretty sight folks). But things took a serious turn for the better when Scoop called our very own Cynthia up to the front. There in front of her friends amid the smoldering crumbs of donuts, Cynthia was awarded a Continuing the Tradition pin! It was awesome and I was able to capture the moment.

Oh sure, most of you would have used a digital camera but I just didn't feel like it did the event justice (well that and I forgot to pack the cable that goes from my camera to my computer). I'll try to post a photo as soon as I get home. Way to go Cynthia! You really deserve it! And doesn't Scoop look good? I think that Atkins diet and the exercise of throwing food have got him looking like a lean, mean, pin trading machine.

Oh Jeff - i can visualize it perfectly!! And is the weather so hot that you guys can go without clothes now? Guess i am so accustomed to seeing that plaid suit. A pretty sight it must have been - tossing cookies on half dressed people!!! Scoop does look thinner though,

Seriously though - and it's hard to be right now - our congratulations to Cynthia on receiving her CTT pin. Wish we had been there. Way to go Cynthia. Can't wait to see it. Caroline

Oh and Jeff for the record we trade a pin for pin at a time, not the entire lanyard for lanyard at a time.

Now some dude is walking around DTD claiming to be you with the unmistakable Jeff lanyard full of Arizona Jeff pins.

Sad part is he's getting Le's for each one.
