When I make an ADR online I don't have to put in my credit card details or the names of the diners other than mine, then it gives me a reservation number - Is that it, or am I missing doing something else, I assumed you'd have to secure it with a credit card. Do you just turn up with your confirmation number and pay there?

Yes that is correct. You only need a CC to pre-pay for the dinner shows, and CRT (you need a CC just as a hold for the Akershus meal in Epcot)

The only reservations for which a credit card guarantee are required are Akershus and California Grill, as well as V&A, the Fantasmic meal package and the Candlelight Processional packages (none of the last three can be booked online). Akershus is for no-shows. California Grill has a guarantee because they had a lot of problems with people booking reservations just to get upstairs and watch the fireworks, then leaving without ordering anything.

CRT and dinner shows must be paid in full at booking unless you book as a user of a dining plan, in which case you need to give a credit card for a guarantee.

No credit card is required to secure any other reservation.

Thank you ever so much, I had visions of us turning up and them not knowing anything about our reservations. I did pay for CRT so assumed they were all like that!
