I called the DL reservation line to clear up a few things with our resevation and when I was on the phone the CM said that just because you stay at a DL hotel doesn't mean you get the MM. She said that at the hotel they *may* give you a pass. I thought that if you stayed on DL property you could get into the MM by showing your room key? Could someone please let me know how it works?

TIA :confused3

I think they are just telling you that to cover their tracks - just as they tell folks who order rooms with views that the views can't be guaranteed, or if you request a daybed, they say they cannot guarantee that. I wouldn't worry about it. MM hours don't happen every day. Usually they happen on all the 'S' days and the 'T' days of the week, only skipping Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I have heard that occasionally - though not often at all - they may switch the MM days in a week, or not have MM on a particular day, but as a general rule, all DLR hotels guests (unless DLR has changed its policy) will have access to MM on any day it is available during their stay. You have to have your Key to the Magic and Park Hopper or AP with you to access the MM, but there is no separate pass. Also keep your Key to the Magic and Hopper/AP handy if you access the GCH entrance into DCA before 10:00 a.m.

And if there is a sudden switch in the MM days during your week (which I doubt), they probably wouldn't know until just before you arrived.

I also doubt that the WDTC people know much of anything about what happens inside their hotels. They might not have ever stepped foot inside of one.

Whats an MM:confused3

MM= Magic Morning, formerly known as Early Entry. Getting into the park one hour before open to general public on S and T days (sat, sun, tues, thurs). Get one MM day with a 3+ day PH or on all available days while staying onsite.

There is a list of abbreviations for the generally confused, the specifically confused, and the totally confused. ;)
