I was wondering, what makes you confused? The thing that confuses me, is the sayings that go like,

"All Trees are plants, BUT not all plants are trees!" My mind can't seem to CLICK on those, if you know what I mean!

okay, TREES are PLANTS. but there are PLANTS that are not TREES. if that wasn't true, then there would only be trees, there wouldn't be flowers or anything else.

thats not really a double negative.
a double negative is
"I don't have none of this"
which means if you do not have none, you must have some.
