Hi there,

We recently went to DL ( ) and I bought our tickets from the DL website - (wow difference in price!) and they came with the "straight to gate" option- I took my printout right to the gate and they scanned it and we were given our tickets- will this occur with tickets from the WDW website? I don't see this mentioned? Will we have to wait in a ticket line as well?

Best, :flower3:

Ally

At the current time at WDW there arre only two categories of tickets which are available this way.

One is single-use MNSSHP or MVMCP tickets, which can be handled at any turnstile.

The other is certain one-day-of-use tickets which are available to CMs. And these have to be used at specific turnstiles which a ticket valid for FastPass machines or re-entry is issued.

It is currently not available for multi-day use. If they ever replace all the turnstiles with new ones with printers they may do this.

There is one problem with the printing turnstiles. When it runs out of tickets it is necessary to get a new supply of tickets from the coordinator, unlock the turnstile and load in the new supply of tickets. This can take from five to ten minutes and can be a real killer during a crowded time. At the current printing turnstiles, they are for CM or Guests of CMs, and they have to put up with it.

Does anyone know if you can upgrade the theme park tickets bought from Travelocity to more days?

I have a question, on WDW, I cant buy a 1 day ticket park hopper option. Can I go to other sites and buy a 1 day park hopper ticket?

I think there is no 1 day hopper option. They want you to stay longer... :-)

The cost to add hopping (or WPF&M) is $54 ($57.51 including tax) per ticket. It does not matter if it is adult or child, one day or ten day, first day of use or last day of use, the price is the same. (For a Florida Resident it is $27 plus tax.)

So if you are not sure, don't order them. If you find you do need them, then upgrade your tickets at any ticket window or Guest Relations Office. It only takes a minute or so.

Disney does not discount one or two day tickets. Ever. That is why any authorized ticket resellers, including Shades of Green, will charge a premium above gate for one or two day tickets.

And I cannot answer about Travelocity in particular, but as a general rules deep discounted tickets (more than 10%) cannot be upgraded or modified in any way. The only way I could tell is if someone came to my window to do an upgrade and I got an "Upgrade Not Allowed" message from the system.
