confused on ride swap

my fast pass plus times are coming up and i have a question. my son can't go on say soaring. too short still. my daughter and wife can and myself. if i book a fp for my wife and daughter and i stay back with my son and still get a ride swap card so i can go on after them with my daughter again? or do i also need to book a fast pass for myself on soaring and not use it to get the ride swap? i think i'm confusing myself. cause if i don't have to use it forsaking then i would book test track for myself later in the day to go on cause i like it, but would still be ablate go on soaring cause of the ride swap card?

Yes - definitely click that link from Robo but the Rider Switch pass is good for up to 3 guests, for that ride only any time that day. So you don't have to ride alone when you return your dd can join you.
