Now I'm confused:confused:
I went through a photo gallery and I was looking at pics of Triton's and saw guys sitting at tables wearing t-shirts, etc.

Were these pics taken during lunch or something? I thought men had to wear slacks, etc in the more "formal" dining rooms?

We are going on the Wonder 3-day and I want to make sure DBF packs the right stuff! I know he has to wear a jacket at Palo (or shirt w/tie) but will these be true of any other dining rooms while we're aboard? We bought the REAS so that we could secure our Palo ressies for Friday night - will we need to dress any other night if we're not at Palo??

First, keep in mind that when your some place like DCL or WDW, there are so many people from so many places, that no mater what the rules say, there will be someone there breaking the rules.

That said, could you tell if the picture was taken during the day at lunch (daylight visible in the port hole) or was it night out. Breakfast and lunch have a lower level of dress code than during dinner.

[Edit]
An men are EXPECTED to wear slacks in ALL the resturants for dinner, not just Triton's.

The dress code during the day is very casual. Evenings, the request is "no shorts in the dining room." In addition to that, there is "suggested attire" based on the theme of the night--formal, semi formal, tropical (on the 7 day). During the day, the rule is no swimwear in the dining rooms. If you don't want to change out of swimwear, you can eat at the buffet or one of the other outlets on deck 9.

All that said, there is no enforcement of the "requests" although most people do comply. On formal night, you will see everything from tux and formal dresses to dockers and polo shirts on guys. However, most will wear a suit.

On a 3 day, you won't have formal or theme nights--dockers and polo shirts will be fine on your guys, sundresses or skirts on the ladies.

Thanks - I think the Triton's photos were during the day as there was plenty of sunshine and everybody was VERY casual - that's why I was shocked.

I will make sure we pack some "dressier" attire at dinner - I just wanted to make sure jacket and tie wasn't required every night - just for Palo - but I was pretty sure we had to wear nice slacks, nice shirt anyway at any of the dining rooms during the evening - we just want to do things right :)
