I am kinda confused on buying tickets. We were thinking of buying the one on the Disney website that is a 6 day park hopper for a kids price. Is this an online special only? i didnt see it anywhere if they have this promotion when you get there. we were not sure if we needed 6 days or not... I was thinking of holding off buying tickets until we get there. Can someone help me PLEASE!!

If you buy tickets when you get there, you're going to have to pay the adult price.

I would personally look at flightcentre.ca they have great prices, and all in Canadian funds. I was just there and did this and it worked out perfectly!

I do know the everyone pays kids price is available at the ticket booths. However, at other times of the year, the prepurchase kids price and the ticket booth price are different (ticket booth more). So, although I know you would get the kids price for adults, I dont know if it is the prepurchase price or the ticket booth price.

Edited-- humm I see the post above mine, I could be wrong. I do not know from personal experience. But I do think I remember someone stating they got kids price at ticket booth

Currently you can get kids price at the ticket booth.
Normally, it's a few dollars cheaper to buy online, as they charge a bit more at the booth.
Also, you can find sites that sell then even cheaper then the kids price.
You can wait till you get there and figure out how many days you need, but I would still recommend that you try and buy online if you can, even once you are there.

I believe Flight Center, ARES Travel and GetAwayToday all have cheaper prices than Disney by a few dollars, so ordering online would be the best deal.

Yeah I agree with the above posters. If you purchase through Disney your going to be paying a slightly bit higher. I would definitely look into flightcenter, getawaytoday or ARES

When I compared them all they had the exact same price as Disney..and we were staying onsite so they just added the tickets to our room reservation and gave them to us at check in..

DO NO wait till you get there. I did because I didnt think I would have enough time for them to be mailed. Well that was a mistake as you DO NOT get the adults for the price of the kids at the park. You have to buy them online! It cost us alot of extra money & I wasnt happy. We ended up getting annual passes as it was $25 more per ticket & since I was already paying a small fortune I thought what the Hay. We do go often so I should have bought them before.

Does anyone know how quickly the tickets from Getawaytoday.com arrive? We are leaving a week from tomorrow! :goodvibes

GAT tickets are e-tickets, so you are not waiting for anything to arrive. You can order tickets on line or over the phone - on the phone you can specify your dates with the Customer Service person and have your order waiting at the ticket booth in DLR for the date you arrive.

If you are going to get in the evening/night before and the ticket booths are still open - you can pick up your tickets then and they are not activated until you actually go through the turnstyles into the resort. It can save a lot of time when you actually go into the parks since you have already waited in line to get your tickets. It's one of those little tricks I wished I had known the first time I went! :thumbsup2

Thanks!

We are getting in the evening before, just not sure if it will be before the ticket booths close. Off to check on their hours........:cool1:

I would definitely buy the tickets before you go. If you wait until you get there it is always more expensive.

There are always ticket booths open, but not the ones on the Harbor side, the ones on the DTD side will be able to help you. :)
