We have a trip planned in mid November and will be staying onsite for 16 days. We plan to travel off-site during some of the days to visit Sea World, Universal, Gatorland, etc. and therefore do NOT have WDW Park Tickets for the length of our stay.

Our check-in is Nov 19th and check-out is Dec 3rd. Our plans for each day are still up in the air but we DO know that we want to end our vacation at MK on our last day (Dec. 3rd).

When will we be able to book FP+ for the date of Dec. 3rd? Is it 60 days from our check-in date, which would be Sept 20th or is it 60 days from Dec. 3rd which would be Oct. 4th. Or does it work like ADR's with the +10 or something similar?

Thanks for your help :)

Because you have a 16-day stay, when your FP booking window opens, you'll be able to book according to the directions listed in the FP FAQ Addendum:

"Booking for Onsite Stays Longer Than 14 Days

When the 60-day FP Booking Window opens for an onsite stay of longer than 14 days, you'll be able to book up to a maximum of 14 consecutive days.

After this, your ability to book for additional park days continues with each passing day. The open 60-day Booking Window continually rolls forward each day allowing you to book for your total number of onsite park days."

Given that a 16-night stay is pretty unusual, I cannot answer your question with complete confidence. I think it will be possible at 60 days before your check-in date (Nov 19), in theory that's how the system should work. Whether it actually does or not is another question, and I would be interested to hear your experience once you have found out. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

ETA: Ignore me, and go with what @hiroMYhero said.

On Sept. 20 you can book FP+ for any of your days up through Dec 2, sort of works like the ADR +10 with a max of 14 days. MDE bookings open at 7am Eastern time. Your only limitation is the # of ticket days you have, so for example if you had 10 day tickets you could book any 10 days during your stay.

Starting at your check in date of Nov 19 and adding 14 gets to Dec. 2, so might have to wait until Sept. 21 to book FP+ for Dec. 3.

So, 60 days before November 21 essentially?

Thank you for all the responses. Right now, we have 9-Day Hopper Tickets so at the 60-day mark (Sept 20th), would we be able to book FP+ for ANY 9 days of our trip (ie. 11/20, 11/21, 11/23, 11/26, 11/29, etc) up to the 14th day (which is 12/1) or is it only CONSECUTIVE days up to 14 days max?

I guess the consecutive thing is throwing me off because we won't be visiting WDW for 14 days in a row as we will be doing other off-site activities intermingled in there....

They do not need to be consecutive. (At least I knew that much.)
