Hi there... trying to pick parks based on touring plans recommendations but throwing a wrench into it is the new shows that we are very interested in. Due to the fact that they are not up and running yet I'm confused on how to pick days and am hoping someone can help.

For summer (june)
Apparently these are opening and will have fast pass options?
Rivers of Light, evening at AK
Star wars fireworks shows, evenings at HS
Frozen ride at Epcot

Anything I'm missing?

I always use easywdw for crowd calendars, and Josh has always given us great recommendations for the past 8 trips we've taken. I would compare the 2 crowd calendars, and see if there are similarities. We're in the same boat, except we're going in May. I plan all my days according to Josh's advice. I'm actually going to be grabbing my FP+s tonight, and will just replace them when the new FP+s become available. River of Lights and the nighttime version of Kilimanjaro Safari will both have FP+. I know it's hard to plan, especially when the extended hours and FP+s aren't available yet, but just try and leave a little wiggle room in your itinerary, and replace when they do become available.

The return of soarin' is another date that is not exact. You may get to see some of those things but not all but that is out of your control.

I guess I'm just struggling with what parks on what particular days knowing that the touring plans will change . The fast passes will be a different issue but those can be adjusted more easily once we already choose our park days.

I would nail down the MK days first. Then take a guess at the rest using existing Easywdw days. Then adjust as needed....

How many days do you have, and how many days to you want at each park? Figure that out, and then use easywdw, touring plans, or whatever crowd calendar you like and go from there. RoL and SW Fireworks will be available every night once they start. We are going in June, and I have our itinerary set with only one AK day. I do know which day will be our alternative AK day, in case I am not able to get a dining package for RoL on the day I want it when they are available to book.

It's hard to plan in advance and leave yourself flexible when so much is unknown. Don't worry, you're not alone in your confusion. There is a new thread about everything new at AK. The first 2 posts list all the new experiences that are coming. The Star Wars thread also has all the new experiences added and those coming in the first posts of the thread. By June, you'll also have the new Frozen things to experience at Epcot. I started a thread for those.

6 days with park hoppers and we usually do 2 parks a day so it adds a complexity. I like your plan and the above posters idea of booking MK first.
I will also check out the threads that the other poster mentioned, time to research!!! Thanks so much :)
