From what I can see, there are several Wolfgang Pucks restaurants in the DTD area. Could you someone please clarify the major difference, and also which ones take bookings and which dont.

Thanks!:flower3:

First the one that takes ressie is the one next Bongos on the West side. It's important to know that. That menu is fancier and more expensive. It's on the dining plan for the downstairs part. I'm not so sure about the upstairs. Upstairs more expensive, downstairs not as bad. I enjoy the food more downstairs then up.

The Wolfgang in the Marketplace is more of a quick service to me. But it also has a variety of typical food instead of tuna tartare for instance.

The Wolfgang in the Westside is the 2nd bus stop for DTD. Just an FYI. I had to walk clear across DTD to get to the WS and it was not fun with a newly replaced hip.

Wolfgang Puck upstairs is more "fancy" dining. Wolfgang Puck Cafe is just a normal table service restaurant. The two Wolfgang Puck Expresses are like upscale counter service, you stand in line and place your order at the counter but they bring it to your table.

Upstairs food is far better and it's less crowded but it is not cheap.I take my wife and friends there before we go to Cirque every coupla years.

We're HUGE fans of the express- the food is just as delicious as the "main" cafe.

Do either of the Wolfgang Puck Express Cafe's take the dining plan? We've eaten at the one on the West Side before Cirque one night during our last trip and loved it. We will be on the dining plan for our next trip and would like to visit again.

I believe the Westside location is owned by Puck's ex-wife, while Puck owns the location in the Marketplace (which was recently refurbished).

I know the downstairs WP takes the DDP but I'm not sure about the upstairs. I'm sure the express takes it also.

The WGP Express in the DTD Marketplace can be used as a counter service meal. It's offers a variety of absolutely delicious entrees that are way better than the normal sandwich & fries CS!!! I highly recommend that you check it out.

Wolfgang Puck's Dining Room ( the upstairs restaurant ) does not accept DDP. Wolfgang Puck Cafe (the downstairs restaurant) will accept one TS credit. Express is a CS.

Neither Puck nor his wife own the DTD restaurants that bear his name. They are owned and operated by Levy Restaurants out of Chicago. Puck still a say in the way the restaurants operate.

We ate at the Express in the Marketplace. As others have mentioned it is an "upscale" CS restaurant. Certainly the best use of our CS credits in terms of value. It was our first time eating there and we will definitely be back next trip.

Interesting -- I got that info from a DTD Guest Relations CM. I'll notify her.
