Confused about Wolfgang Puck Express and Cafe

Hi All,

We'll be at Disney this Thursday and I'm trying to finalize our dining ADR's. We still have one TS not booked. Was going to try B & C since we're staying at the BC but after reading responses to questions regarding B&C I think we may just try dessert there.

So, I was hoping someone can explain Wolfgang Puck to me. This was a second choice. I am confused about Wolfgang Puck Express, Wolfgang Puck Cafe and I think that the dining room upstairs is a more formal place. I'm not interested in the dining room but what is the difference between the express and cafe? Are these the same restaurant or different and do you need a reservation to eat at the cafe? TIA

I'm also considering cancelling a character breakfast and scheduling ESPN or Kona for lunch for wings but I'll make that a different post. Don't want to confuse everyone.

The cafe is a TS and the express is CS.

We have had reservations when eating at the cafe or the dining room upstairs.

There are two Express outlets. One is on West Side of DTD in the same building as Wolfgang Puck Cafe. The other is in the DTD Marketplace just behind the Christmas store. It is a larger restaurant and has a more extensive menu than the West Side Express. Both WP Express outlets are counter service, the WP Cafe is table service.

wolfgang puck is definately worth it - we had one of our favorite meals there. the cafe is a table service meal, and the express is quick/counter service. lots of variety on the menu, but all of the food is amazing. definately give it a try!

Wolfgang Puck Express is IMHO the best counter service in the meal plan by a huge margin, and it tops quite a few of the table service places too.

Huge portions, super friendly service, excellent food. (My favorite is the spicy sausage pizza.)

Be sure to get the crème brulee for dessert.

The WP Express in the Marketplace is the best value for CS credit.
We ate 4 of our 5 CS meal there in November (the other was breakfast at the FC at POFQ on checkout day.) If we had a later flight our last day it might have been 5 of 5.
The pasta dishes come with a small salad & bread . Since we ordered wine or a beer we got a small bottle of water to have the next day waiting for the buses.We did the same with the dessert taking a brownie or cookie for a snack later that night.
We also had a outstanding meal at the Cafe our last night. Have the chocolate cake with the melted chocolate in the middle.
