Hello, I've tried to search the boards for an answer but I'm hoping someone can help me figure out the best route to take...we are booked on the free dining bounceback for aug. 23rd for 10 nights at POR - we may reduce the number of nights and will be splitting our stay at a DVC on points. We received a 40% off pin/postcard and now there is the 4/3 deal. We are annual passholders so our bounceback is booked with one day base MYW passes - our dilemna is that we have invited our niece (18) and nephew (11) to join us next summer so not sure whether we should keep Free Dining, do a room only with the 40% off, watch for a 4/3 deal or just do DVC on points and buy the DP/or not DP - we have the DDE/TIW card. My head is spinning with all the decisions - the kids are weird eaters/small appetites so DP may not be worth it (the QSDP may be better choice for them). Any advice or link to a thread where i could compare cost of these options. I would consider upgrading to a deluxe resort with the 40% off but then we'd still need to factor in DP or not. So much to ponder but at least it's all about good times at our favourite place - just hoping to shave a few extra $$$ to finance the trip for the kids...

any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!

Only you can decide if the dining plans are worth it for you or not. I go through it with every trip and always find it isn't worth it. But others love it. It's just about travel and eating style.

Once you figure that out, go through and price all your vacation choices. You can do the 4/3 by using the websites special offers link. Price out the regular cost of your vacation and deduct 40% for the pin offer. Don't forget to price in any extras (ticket costs, etc). Then compare each bottom line. Depending on your dates (Will you get the $200 gift card?) and hotel choice, it will vary for everyone.
