Ok, i have only enough points left for my 5 nights at BCV, but they don't have any rooms. They do have room at BWV, same number of points. Now if i want to wait list to BCV, i would have to do the whole week? I cant do 1 day at a time? Like if 1 day becomes available, can i cancel the 1 day at BWV and then take the wait list day at BCV? Does this make sense? HELP, I'm confused! :confused3

You do not have to commit any points to use the waitlist.

If you choose to waitlist for individual days at the BCV, yes, you can cancel the corresponding day at the BWV to book the day that made it through the waitlist at BCV. THis method of waitlisting has the greatest chance of coming through. But if all the days do not clear the waitlist for BCV, you do risk having to move back and forth between the BCV and the BWV.

You may also waitlist at BCV for the entire 5 days to become available at once. This is less likely to come through than waitlisting by individual day (because DVC will not hold days for you waiting for the others to come through). Once the BCV waitlist comes through, you can cancel the BWV reservation to book BCV.

Good luck - hope BCV comes through for you.

Thanks for the help, i would like to do the 1st option, even though i might have to move. Do i tell MS, that i want to wait list for individual days, will they know what I'm talking about? Or is there a name for doing it that way?

No special name that I know of - just tell the CM that you want to be on the waitlist for each day separately.

Best wishes -
