confused about tickets?

I need some help please!! We are going to be staying in Disney for 8 nights and I think we should get the 6 day park hopper plus passes - my DH thinks we should get the ultimate park hopper passes? We plan on doing the water parks at least 2 times, Pleasure Island 1 night, and Disney Quest 1 or maybe 2 times!? We have 1 "plus" option left from our last trip. The problem would be if we decide to leave the parks in the middle of the day and go to a water park (which my DH thinks he would like to do)
My other problem is we are staying a POR for 5 nights and AKL for 3 nights - can we still get the UPH passes for our total length of stay - or 7 nights (would be better as we are arriving later in the day our first day). Any help is appreciated!! Thanks! We leave May 11

If you plan to visit Disney Quest, remember that you can't use plus options for it--the UPH does cover it though. If you think you'd go to the major parks most (or all) days and water parks at least a couple of times, as well as a visit or 2 to PI and DQ, the UPH may be your best bet. I'm not familiar with how to split it between hotels, but I do believe that if you purchase it at the resort (as opposed to getting it with a package in advance) they allow you to drop a day at the beginning or end of your trip.
