Confused about MYW Pass and dining

I'm a bit confused about the pass and doing the dining plan. I am going next May and hope to spend 4 nts. at BWV and 6nt. at a mod.(However, splitting those into 3nts. at the begin. and 3 nts. at the end, w/ BW in the middle). I know that I can't get the dining plan if I rent pts. However, can I get the plan for each of the 3 nts. that I will stay in a mod.? I'm sorry if this is confusing, but can I purchase 8 day MYW passes (I have old passes left), or would I have to actually do 2 separate packages in order to get dining on those 6 nts. because I broke the nts. up? Any help or advice would be great!! Also, did they have any good specials this past May such as free dining? Just wondering. Thanks!

Here are the rules:

1.) In order to get dining, a package must be booked. Packages must contain (at a minimum): room reservation and tickets.

2.) If you're on a package that includes dining, the dining ends when you check out. If you want it to continue for a NEW check in, you MUST book another package for that check in.

3.) The tickets you get on a package are standard Magic Your Way tickets, and are in NO way tied to your resort stay. If you want 8 day tickets on a 3 night room reservation, that's fine.

So, if you booked a dining package for 9/10 - 9/13, and rented point for 9/13 - 9/16:

Your dining would last from 9/10 - 9/13. If you went to the parks the first day you arrive (9/10), and you had eight day base tickets, you would have until 9/24 to use up all 8 days.

I'm not sure I understood specifically what you're trying to do - but that's the best I can outline the answer without clarification of your situation.

Thanks! I know it was a pretty confusing question. My hope was to stay at a mod. on wkends and rent pts. during the week when it is cheaper. You did clarify some things for me! Thanks again!

If I understand your question, you would need to book 2 separate packages, one for the first part of your stay and one for the end of your stay. They would each ned to have at least a one day base ticket ofr each person in the group. You don't actually need to use the tickets that are attached to the package during your stay. You can hold onto them asnd use them later, or apply their value to a ticket at a later time.
