So, our first trip was a hit and we are going back!!! With another family!!! We have in total THREE reservation numbers - Ours, and two of theirs as they are getting two rooms.

On first trip I had NO problem getting the ressies I wanted at basically the times I wanted BUT I was a table of 4. Now, I will be booking for either a table of 9 or a table of 4 and 5.

The questions are these:
1. Am I better off looking for a table of 9? or booking seperately as 4 and 5?

2. Since the res numbers we have are not for 9, will the system not allow me to reserve a table for that number?

I am worried if I book two tables, we will end up split up in timing (two tables won't bother us but we want to start and finish together). If anyone has advice on how to handle the booking of large groups and muliple reservations, I would LOVE to have some advice.

Thanks.

Your number in your room does not limit your dinner reservation. I have 3 in my room and made multiple reservations for party of 11.

Disney would not restrict you from meeting friends or family for dinner. ;-)

A lot of ppl have reported rounding up in numbers to help get a table. Eg for 9 try 10, for 5 try 6. Reason being there are only so many 9 people table but there may be more 10. You can always reduce the number of people dining by calling at any time.
